A very impressive vintage Grande Champagne cognac from renowned family distillers, Hine.
Distilled in 1967 from grapes grown exclusively in the premium vineyards of the Grande Champagne district. The cognac 'landed' in 1969, meaning that the spirit was transferred to Hine's chalk cellars in Bristol where maturation continued at a more gentle pace than in the west of France.
Bottled in 1987, meaning that the cognac was matured for around 20 years.
