Tullibardine - Highland elegance in its purest form
Revived in 1949, the Tullibardine distillery in the Scottish Highlands combines modern production with the traditional art of whisky making. As one of the few distilleries to process its own malt, Tullibardine creates single malts full of character and captivating clarity.
What makes Tullibardine so special is the mineral-rich water from the Ochil Hills, which gives the whisky its distinctive freshness. Distillation in classic copper stills and maturation in carefully selected casks - including first-fill bourbon casks, sherry butts and even wine bottles - result in a versatile spectrum of flavours. The signature bottling impresses with notes of honey, almonds and ripe apples, while the sherry cask version develops deep flavours of dried fruit and spices.
A highlight is "The Murray" series, which is matured in exclusive cognac or port wine barrels and thus develops unusual nuances. Tullibardine deliberately opts for unchilled filtering and natural colour in order to preserve the pure character of the whisky.
Although the distillery mainly supplied blends for a long time, it has made a name for itself with its outstanding single malt bottlings. Tullibardine stands for high-quality Highland whisky that harmoniously combines tradition and innovation - an insider tip for lovers of elegant, multi-layered malts.
