Domaine Marquis d'Angervilleis one of the most renowned wine estates in Burgundy and stands for unadulterated, terroir-influenced wines of the highest quality. The family-run estate in Volnay looks back on a long tradition and is particularly known for its exquisite Pinot Noirs, which combine finesse, depth and longevity.

As early as the 19th century, Sem Marquis d'Angervillecampaigned against the widespread wine adulteration of the time and established the estate as a pioneer of authentic Burgundy. Today, the estate cultivates around 15 hectares of vineyards, including the famous Premier Cru sites "Clos des Ducs","Taillepieds" and "Frémiets" in Volnay as well as plots in Meursault and Pommard.

The domaine's philosophy is based on minimalist intervention: natural cultivation, selective harvesting and careful ageing in wooden barrels characterise the wines. The red wines are characterised by their velvety tannins, lively acidity and aromas of red fruits, violets and spicy nuances. The white wines from Meursault, on the other hand, show elegant minerality and complex bouquet notes.
