Château Canon - The crown jewel of Saint-Émilion

Château Canon, classified as a Premier Grand Cru Classé (B), is one of the most important wine estates on the right bank of Bordeaux and epitomises all the elegance of Saint-Émilion. Its history dates back to the 18th century, when it was founded by the wealthy merchant Jacques Kanon.

The vineyards cover 34 hectares on the famous limestone plateaus of Saint-Émilion, which offer ideal conditions for Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Franc (30%). This unique combination of terroir gives the wines their characteristic finesse, mineral depth and aromatic complexity with notes of ripe cherries, truffles and a fresh floral note.

Since 1996, the estate has belonged to the Chanel Group, which has further improved the quality through targeted investments. Under the management of Nicolas Audebert, Château Canon favours precise organic cultivation and careful vinification in order to capture the essence of the terroir.

In addition to the Grand Vin, the second wine "Croix Canon" is produced, which is more accessible. Special vintages such as 2015, 2016 and 2018show the enormous potential of this vineyard. Today, Château Canon stands for perfect harmony between power and elegance - a true ambassador of the Saint-Émilion class.
