Château Beauséjour Héritiers Duffau-Lagarrosse is located in the heart of Saint-Émilion, right next to the famous Ausone and Pavie vineyards. As a Premier Grand Cru Classé B, it is one of the top wine estates on the right-hand side of Bordeaux. Owned by the Duffau-Lagarrosse family since the 19th century, the estate combines traditional craftsmanship with modern precision.
The seven hectares of vineyards on barren limestone produce mainly Merlot, supplemented by Cabernet Franc. The wines impress with their powerful structure and simultaneous elegance - aromas of dark berries, liquorice and mineral notes develop over decades.
Following a quality revolution in the 2000s under the direction of Nicolas Thienpont and Stéphane Derenoncourt, the wines are now among the most sought-after Saint-Émilions. Strict selection and natural ageing produce vintages of impressive depth and finesse.
