Domaine Albert Bichot - Tradition and innovation in Burgundy

Domaine Albert Bichotis one of the most important wine estates in Burgundy and has been uniting six generations of passionate winegrowers since 1831. Headquartered in Beaune, the family-run company today cultivates over 100 hectares of its own vineyards, including renowned sites such as Corton-Charlemagne, Clos de Vougeot and Romanée-Saint-Vivant.

What particularly characterises Albert Bichot is the unique combination of traditional know-how and state-of-the-art cellar technology. Each of the four family-owned domains - Domaine du Clos Frantin, Domaine du Pavillon, Domaine Adelie and Domaine Long-Depaquit- is dedicated to its specific terroir with the utmost dedication. The grapes are rigorously selected and vinified using either classic or innovative methods, depending on the location.

The red wines, predominantly from Pinot Noir, are characterised by their velvety tannins, intense fruit and mineral elegance. The Domaine's Chardonnays impress with their lively acidity structure and complex flavours of citrus fruits and white stone fruit. The biodynamically cultivated Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, which regularly receives top ratings, deserves special attention.

As one of the few Burgundian wineries with its own bottling plant, Albert Bichot guarantees the highest quality standards from the vineyard to the bottle. With its commitment to sustainable viticulture and its unmistakable Burgundian style, the estate remains a guarantor of authentic wines with an unmistakable character.
