Feist - tradition and craftsmanship in port wine since 1836

Founded in 1836 in Vila Nova de Gaia, the Feist port wine house is one of the most traditional family businesses in the port wine industry. With almost 200 years of experience, the company combines traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art cellar technology and is now part of the renowned Sogevinus Group, which also owns brands such as Cálem and Kopke.

Feist is particularly known for its excellent tawny port wines, which develop their characteristic elegance through long barrel ageing. The ageing stages - from Reserva to 40 Years Old - are characterised by complex aromas of dried fruit, nuts and fine wood notes. The Feist 20 Years Old Tawny is considered one of the best in its class and has won several international awards.

Another highlight is the Feist Vintage Port, which is only produced in outstanding vintages. These powerful, deep dark port wines with flavours of ripe berries and chocolate have an exceptional ageing potential.

The company cultivates its own vineyards in the upper Douro Valley, where old vines on steep slate terraces produce outstanding grapes. Feist favours sustainable cultivation and preserves the traditional cultivation methods of the region.

With its long history and consistent quality philosophy, Feist stands for authentic port wine art. The harmonious, multi-layered wines impress both connoisseurs and beginners and make Feist a firm favourite among premium port wine producers.
