Taittinger - The poetry of Chardonnay
Since 1734, the name Taittinger has been synonymous with the delicate elegance and artistic finesse of Champagne. The family-run house in Reims has dedicated itself in particular to the refinement of Chardonnay, which always plays the dominant role in its cuvées. This special focus is reflected in the generous 288 hectares of its own vineyards, 37 of which are Grand Cru sites in the Côte des Blancs - the heartland of the finest Champagne vines.
Taittinger's champagnes captivate with their airy lightness and complex variety of flavours. The Taittinger Brut Réserve, a harmonious blend of 40 different crus, impresses with its lively freshness and notes of white peach and almond blossom. The prestige cuvée Comtes de Champagne, a pure Blanc de Blancs from Grand Cru vineyards, develops a unique depth with nuances of honey, minerality and delicate roasted flavours after at least ten years of ageing.
The Taittinger Prélude, an exceptional blend made exclusively from Grand Cru grapes that epitomises the essence of the house, deserves special mention. The combination of tradition and modernity is also reflected in the House's support for contemporary art.
