Pommery - Avant-garde and tradition in Champagne
Since 1836, the Pommery champagne house has embodied the spirit of progress and the elegance of French winemaking. As one of the most innovative houses in Champagne, Madame Pommery revolutionised sparkling wine production in the 19th century by introducing brut dryness, thereby creating a new standard. The historic cellar vaults from Gallo-Roman times beneath the imposing Château Pommery in Reims are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and symbolise the house's deep roots in the region.
Pommery champagnes are characterised by their particular finesse and aromatic complexity. The Pommery Brut Royal, a balanced blend of 35 crus, is characterised by its lively freshness with notes of white flowers and citrus fruits. The prestige cuvée Louise honours the founder and shows all the depth and ageability of a great champagne in its vintage version.
The experimental POP Art series, which offers young artists a platform and at the same time emphasises Pommery's modern orientation, deserves special mention. The house also favours sustainable cultivation of its 120 hectares of vineyards and is continuously reducing its ecological footprint.
A glass of Pommery is like a work of art - full of elegance, surprises and timeless charm.
