Lanson - The unadulterated soul of Champagne

Since 1760, the Lanson champagne house has stood for a unique philosophy: the pure, unadulterated expression of the Champagne grape. As one of the oldest houses in Reims, Lanson consistently refrains from malolactic fermentation - a technical speciality that gives the champagnes their incomparable freshness and ageing potential. This tradition has been maintained unchanged for more than 260 years, making Lanson one of the last champagne houses to preserve the original champagne style.

Lanson's champagnes are characterised by their lively acidity and crystalline clarity. The Lanson Black Label Brut, a balanced blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, develops notes of green apples, citrus and a refreshing minerality. The prestige cuvée Lanson Noble Cuvée, produced only in excellent vintages, matures on the lees for at least eight years and then displays a complex range of flavours of white fruits, almonds and delicate yeast notes.

The Lanson Extra Age Brut, whose exceptional maturity is the result of six years of ageing on the lees, deserves special mention. 40% of the grapes come from the house's own organically cultivated vineyards.

A glass of Lanson is like a fresh morning dew - lively, undisguised and full of energy.
