Slight hints of tobacco leaf, leather and a subtle spiciness (clove, cinnamon) emphasise the maturity of the wine. A hint of dried herbs is reminiscent of the Cabernet Franc component.
Palate:
The texture is silky and balanced, with a ripe tannin structure that blends harmoniously with the wine. Flavours of dried red fruits, baked plum and a subtle sweetness of liqueur cherries unfold on the palate. In between, tertiary notes of leather, autumn leaves and a mineral character resonate.
