Product information

Mouton Rothschild. In 1990 and 91 a lousy and a huge(95/100) half bottle, both from the same source. Before that, a wonderful 1tel in 1988. In 1994, at Willi Kräling's Mouton tasting from the magnum, less beautiful with somewhat sharp acidity - 88/100. In 1999, a brighter red, beautiful, somewhat sweet and soft nose, fully ripe, beautiful Cabernet on the palate with very subtle sweetness, one of the most beautiful '66 Moutons I have ever drunk - 94/100. And most recently in 1999 in a large Mouton tasting, simply angular, acid-heavy, flat - 82/100. Most recently in 2005, simply dry, ungenerous and somewhat green, a wine that has long passed its best phase and can only get worse - 86/100. If you want to celebrate a special occasion with something like this, you should have 2 bottles ready as a precaution (source: wineterminator.com Dr. Becker).
