Product information

Under conversion to organic viticulture Owned and run by Sophie and David Faure, this is an estate that is quietly building a fine reputation for itself. Located in the southern Médoc, its boundaries adjoining those of Giscours and Cantemerle, it benefits from a quality terroir of deep gravels, carefully farmed (it is currently in conversion to fully organic viticulture). "Black cherries and cassis are mixed with spices, herbs, tobacco and cedar box notes which jump from the glass. The gorgeous soft, plush texture leads the way into the long finish. Composed of 52% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot which was aged for 12 months in barrels. (Best 2013-2019) - June, 2013 (JD)" International Wine Report
