A good champagne year with powerful wines. I have only drunk Dom Perignon once so far, in 1993 as RD at a Dom tasting in the Hummerstübchen, a very powerful champagne, strong mousseux, very fresh, honey tones, bread crust, muscle and charm at the same time, certainly still a pleasure - 95/100 (source: Wineterminator.com Dr. Becker).
