Domaine Camus Père & Fils - Tradition and terroir in the Côte de Nuits

Domaine Camus Père & Filsin Ladoix-Serrigny is one of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy and has been run by the same family without interruption since 1732. The estate cultivates 15 hectares of vineyards in prestigious locations in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, including plots in Corton (Grand Cru), Corton-Charlemagne (Grand Cru) and Savigny-lès-Beaune (Premier Cru).

The Domaine stands for a classic Burgundy style with modern precision. The grapes are harvested by hand and processed with great care. The red wines - predominantly from Pinot Noir - mature for 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels (30% new barriques) and impress with their elegant structure, aromas of red berries and a fine mineral note. The white wines made from Chardonnay are characterised by their lively acidity and complex nuances of citrus and white stone fruit.

The Corton Grand Cru "Clos des Cortons", a powerful yet delicate wine with great ageing potential, deserves a special mention. Since 2015, the domaine has increasingly focussed on sustainable cultivation and reduced the use of sulphites.

With its perfect balance between tradition and innovation, Domaine Camus Père & Fils epitomises the essence of Burgundian winemaking.
